Deli Bowl

Do you ever get a craving for a huge deli style sandwich? Like thick, drippy, needs two hands and going to make a mess style? Well I do. More often than I should admit...
But being gluten free makes it tough to order a sandwich (even the delis that offer GF bread rarely offer the 'good' kind and always charge too much for it) and most delis use overly processed 'luncheon' style meats which I try to keep far away from my diet. My dietary restrictions and standards usually leave me sad + sandwichless... until now!
I made this deli style bowl to give me all the sandwich flavors I crave with a more nutritious spin. 


Ingredients: (per bowl)

+ 1/2 cup Sprouted Brown Rice, cooked
+ 4 oz Roast Beef, organic, shaved
+ 1 thick slice Swiss Cheese, organic
+ 1/4 Avocado
+ 1/2 cup Cleveland Kraut Beet Red
+ 2 tbsp Horseradish Sauce (see below)
+ 1 tbsp Seed Mix: Sesame, Caraway, Poppy
+ 1/4 tsp Onion Flakes

Sauce:
+1/2 cup Plain Icelandic Yogurt
+ 2 tbsp Horseradish
+ 2 tbsp Chives, chopped
+ pinch Garlic Salt  

Stir together the sauce and set aside while you assemble your bowl to let the flavors develop.  Chop your cheese slice into small chunks. Place all ingredients in a bowl, separated out (like above) or just toss it all together! Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with seeds. Enjoy!

Tip - Serve over a bed of greens for more balance and nutrients!
