Gingerbread Protein Bites

Another cookie recipe that’s not really a cookie recipe!

I know, very exciting. But seriously, who doesn’t want a million variations of no-bake, healthyish treat recipes to pull from?! This one is a winter fav due to its classic spice combination.

Nutrition bonus, not only will you get a good dose of protein from these, but the addition of molasses supplies much needed dietary iron!

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops Klean Whey Isolate

  • 1/4 cup Nut Butter

  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour

  • 1/2 cup AP Flour (I used GF)

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

  • 2 tsp Ginger

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 tsp Allspice

  • 1/4 tsp Cloves

  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg

  • 2 tbsp Molasses

  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil (melted)

  • 1 tbsp Water

How to:

Mix all ingredients together well. Roll into balls, or use a small cookie scoop. Place in the fridge to chill for ~30 minutes. Eat!
