It is best to make your own sauces, dressings, and condiments whenever possible. Store bought versions generally have many added sugars, preservatives, and other additives. 

But dressings make food taste good. I myself am a ranch addict and while I've switched to a more natural bottled option, I can't kick the habit. I do try to make my own, especially this one, when I have too many ripe avocados (#fitfoodieproblems). 


Ingredients: 


+ 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
+ 1 cup Herbs (Basil, Mint, Parsley)
+ 1 Avocado
+ 8 oz Plain Greek Yogurt
+ 2 minced garlic cloves
+ 1/2 tsp Salt
+ 1 tsp Pepper (or more...) 

Instructions:

Chop the herbs. Scoop your avocado into a blender along with all other ingredients. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Serving Suggestion

This is a thick dressing, great on salads, burgers, or even a dip for sweet potato fries...
