There's so much research about beets improving athletic performance! Consuming more of this blood stained root vegetable isn't going to get you an instant PR... but adding them to your routine won't hurt! 


Ingredients: Serves 2

+ 2 cups Coconut milk
+ 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
+ Juice of 1 Red Beet
+ 2 cup Strawberries, frozen
+ 1 cup Coconut Water
+ 1 tbsp Raw Sugar
+ 1 scoop Protein Powder
+ 2 Party Straws (not optional)

Instructions:

Combine the chia and coconut milk, sed aside. Blend the coconut water with strawberries, sugar, and protein powder. Divide this puree into two glasses. Top with equal amounts of pure beet juice. Now give the chia - milk mixture an extra shake and then add to each glass.  You can skip all this and just blend it all together... but whats the fun in that! Now add your fun straw and ENJOY!
