Date Me Smoothie
Date me! Okay don't, but make a date to make this smoothie.
Dates are nature's candy. They are sweet and sticky and totally binge worthy. Date's also can provide the quick carbs you need for a blast of energy. This smoothie is ideal for just before a workout when you need a pick me up that starts fast but lasts.
INGREDIENTS: Serves 1
+ 3 pitted Dates
+ 1 cup Spiced Almond Milk
+ 1/2 frozen Banana
+ 1 scoop protein powder of choice
+ 1 tsp Hemp Seed
Blend it all!
+ Make it Extra Special
You can use store bought Almond milk if you must... but you'll have to add vanilla, cardamom, star anise and cinnamon to this to try to replicate the flavor.
