+ TWO WAYS TO USE IT


 

First make the milk. Then enjoy it blended in either of these two tasty beverages.

 


How To: Nut Milk (makes enough for 2 smoothies)

1 cup Pistachios, raw, shelled
+ Water
+ Nut bag

Place your nuts in a jar with around 2 cups of water. Let them soak 2 hours to overnight. Drain. Rinse with cold water. Dump into a blender with 2.5 cups of water. Blend until the nuts are super ground and the liquid is that classic, light, pistachio green color. Place the nut bag in a jar or bowl and pour in your blended liquid. Squeeze until you cannot get another drop out! Toss the pulp (or save and use for baking later!). Use your milk (fresher the better).

Verde

Ingredients: Serves 2

+ 2 frozen Banana
+ 2 cups Pistachio 'Milk'
+ 2 cup Milk

+ pinch of Himayalan Pink Salt
+ 1/4 cup unsweetened Coconut, shredded
+ 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
+ 2 scoop Vanilla Whey protein powder
+ 2 tbsp raw turbinado Sugar
+ ice cubes

Instructions:

Blend everything.  ENJOY!

 

+ Make it Extra Special

Make this vegan by subbing in pea protein powder and nut milk. 

 

 

Strawberry fields

INGREDIENTS: SERVES 2

+ 2 cups Strawberries, frozen
+ 2 cups Pistachio 'Milk'
+ pinch of Himayalan Pink Salt
+ 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
+ 2 scoop Vanilla Whey protein powder
+ 2 tbsp raw turbinado Sugar
+ ice cubes
