With Kale! Hooray!
This is an easy dish to toss together that packs a serious recovery punch. The salmon lends loads of protein, healthy fats and calcium. The pasta in this dish gives your body an indulging carb treat without going overboard. The kale lets your body begin to return to normal, non-training foods (aka the fiber).
INGREDIENTS: For 1
+ 2 oz Pasta (gluten free or whole wheat)
+ 2 cups Kale, chopped
+ 1 can Salmon
+ 2 tbsp raw Sun Flower Seeds
+ 4 tbsp Ranch Dressing ( I love Brianna's Classic Buttermilk Ranch)
+ Pepper to taste
Cook your pasta until desired doneness. Drain. Toss the warm pasta with the kale and ranch. Mix in the salmon. Garnish with the sunflower seeds and pepper to taste.
